Blind kids wow benefactors in NLAB’s 50th anniversary |

The Northern Luzon Association for the Blind (NLAB) celebrated its
golden anniversary last Wednesday with an ecumenical celebration and
program at its newly renovated home along Bokawkan Road.
More than a dozen blind students wowed their visitors with their
songs and performances as they thanked the members of NLAB and their
sponsors for their continuous support to their education.

NLAB still has slots for visually impaired kids |

Over at the old Bahay ng Pag-asa building in Bokawkan Road, 23 visually
impaired children will be coming back to school today, Sunday.
The Northern Luzon Association for the Blind’s (NLAB) School for the
Blind welcomes their old students in their newly renovated home in
Cresencia Village.

Donors help keep school for blind afloat |

TWO years ago, a US Navy retiree was looking for the Tahanang Walang Hagdanan, a house for persons with physical disabilities, in Baguio City so he could offer his help, but the driver of the cab he took brought him instead to the school of the Northern Luzon Association of the Blind (NLAB).
